About Rixos Sharm El Sheikh

Rixos Sharm El Sheikh is a 5-star adults-only resort on a sandy beach in Nabq Bay. It is all-inclusive, with à la carte restaurants, bars and pools, one of them heated. The resort has a spa, a gym and a private beach. The front desk is open 24 hours, and parking is free.

Location

The resort is on Nabq Bay, north of Sharm el-Sheikh, 7 km from the airport as the crow flies. Naama Bay is 17 km away and the Old Market 24 km. A paid shuttle runs between the resort and the airport.

The Ras Mohammed sites are 38 km away as the crow flies, the Dunraven wreck 48 km and the Thistlegorm 56 km. You reach them by boat from the Sharm harbors.

Rooms

Superior rooms are 37 m², Deluxe rooms 50 m² and Premium rooms 74 m², with a king bed or twin beds. The Pool Suite offers 110 m². All of them have a balcony or a terrace over the sea, the garden or the pool.

They have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a kettle and a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub, bathrobes and slippers.

Dining

Breakfast is a buffet, with continental, English and vegetarian options. The à la carte restaurants serve Turkish food at Lalezar, Japanese at Sakura, fish at Salt and Brazilian at La Churrascaria. Gusto is Italian, while Asian and Taj Mahal serve Asian and Indian food.

The bars, including a swim-up bar, and the snack bar complete the all-inclusive package. Special diets are catered for on request.

Leisure

The pools are open year-round, one of them is heated, and there is a swim-up bar. The spa offers a sauna and a hot tub, at extra cost, and the gym runs yoga classes. Tennis, water sports and diving are paid separately.

Dive sites nearby

Diving and snorkeling are booked on site, at extra cost. For the big sites, the Sharm dive centers run day trips by boat. Ras Mohammed and Shark and Yolanda Reef are one to one and a half hours away by boat. The Thistlegorm is also a day trip, with hotel pickup around 3 a.m.

From Nabq Bay, allow time for the drive to the harbor before boarding. The Dunraven wreck is almost always combined with a Ras Mohammed site.
